Abstract
Bongpyeong beach is located at Uljin-Gun in Gyeongsangbuk-Do which shoreline length is 2.5 km and the littoral drift cell is from Jukbyun Port to Goljang Port. The Bongpyeong beach was serious eroded due to extension of Jukbyun Port and then 3-artificial headland was constructed to protect beach erosion. The Monitoring was executed for the analysis of shoreline change characteristics thru 2013 and 2014. And we came to appreciate the results of Static Equilibrium shoreline by Hsu & Evans formula. The shoreline is surveyed unstable to repeat erosion and deposit status, without maintaining Static Equilibrium shoreline defined to prevent beach erosion.
